GRIEF

Grief, like all traumas, comes in waves. If you’ve experienced a loss, it’s likely that you understand that. Sometimes you’re fine, and other times, you feel like you’re drowning. Every part of your life can be affected by grief—work, relationships, you name it. Grieving a loved one is often one the hardest things we go through in life—but you don’t need to do it by yourself.

COUNSELING PROCESS

Grief is not something you “get over,” it’s something that you learn to live with. A loss is much more complicated than we give it credit for and it is counterintuitive to put any type of time limit on it. While many decide to process their grief alone, the support of a therapist can be insightful and helpful. Working together, we can create a plan to help you learn tools and strategies to handle the waves as they come, and move through them, rather than let them swallow you up.
