THE TYPES OF COUNSELING OFFERED

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

Individual counseling is a completely personalized experience – one that is tailored to your specific needs and concerns. It’s an opportunity to process whatever you’re going through in a safe, caring, and confidential space.

GROUP COUNSELING

Group counseling provides a unique opportunity for people to connect with others going through similar issues. While individual counseling can offer a more personalized experience, group counseling can give you a different type of insight—one based on a shared experience and understanding. People often enter treatment because they feel isolated. A group provides a built-in community of support and can help you see that you are not alone.

ANXIETY COUNSELING

Anxiety is all about worry: persistent and unrelenting worry. Everyone worries sometimes, but when the worry is constant and overwhelming, it can become a serious problem. I can help you to not only understand where the anxiety is coming from but also how to confront and deal with it in everyday life.

GRIEF COUNSELING

Have you recently lost a loved one? Have you been struggling to understand and cope with the loss? Maybe you need a space to process your grief on your own time, rather than someone else’s. If so, you may benefit from grief counseling.

DEPRESSION COUNSELING

Depression is so much more than feeling “sad” or “low.” It’s normal to feel sad once in a while, but if you find yourself feeling overwhelmed, irritable, disinterested in doing the things you used to love, overly tired, or even worthless, then you may be dealing with depression.

RELATIONSHIP COUNSELING

Are you struggling in your relationship? Have you recently ended your relationship or considered doing so? While couple’s counseling is a great resource, sometimes you just need your own space to be heard and process how you feel. Individual counseling can be an incredible way to figure out what you want as both an individual and a partner.

ADDICTION COUNSELING

Addiction is a chronic disease characterized by compulsive substance use despite harmful consequences. The good news is that recovery is absolutely possible. I’m here to meet you where you are in your recovery, wherever that may be.

TRAUMA COUNSELING

Are you struggling to move forward in your life after a traumatic event? Have you become trapped within your routine out of fear of feeling unsafe? Do you constantly feel afraid, numb or disconnected from your relationships? If any of these things sound familiar, you may be suffering from PTSD.
